Who we are and the scope of this policy

Leen Real Estate is responsible for the personal information described in this policy when you use this website, ask about V-MIRAMAR, request project materials, or submit a broker profile.

This policy is intended to explain our website practices in line with Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843). It should be reviewed alongside the company’s wider data-protection procedures before production launch.

Information we collect

Information you provide

• Contact details such as your name, email address, phone number, country, or city.
• Enquiry details, property interests, buying purpose, preferred contact method, and messages you choose to send.
• For broker enquiries, your company or agency, professional profile link, market, experience, and introduction.
• Information you choose to send through WhatsApp, email, phone, or social media after leaving this website.

Technical and preference information

Our hosting and security systems may create technical logs containing an IP address, date and time, requested page, browser or device information, and error or security events. The website also stores your optional-service choices in a first-party preference cookie.

How and why we use information

• To receive, route, and respond to your enquiry or request.
• To provide requested project information or approved documents when available.
• To review broker or property-partner introductions without implying appointment or agreed terms.
• To maintain website security, diagnose faults, prevent abuse, and protect our systems.
• To comply with applicable legal duties and respond to lawful requests.
• Where you have made an optional choice, to load Google Maps or approved measurement and marketing services.

We do not use enquiry information for direct marketing unless you have separately and clearly agreed to receive it. The website does not make decisions about you solely through automated processing.

Sharing, service providers, and international transfers

Information is available only to Leen Real Estate personnel and service providers who need it for the purposes described above. Depending on the final production setup, these may include website hosting, email delivery, IT and security support, and professional advisers. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect people, rights, property, or systems.

When you choose to open or allow a third-party service—such as Google Maps, WhatsApp, Facebook, or Instagram—that provider processes information under its own terms and privacy policy. Some service providers may process information outside Ghana. We will use appropriate contractual, technical, and organisational safeguards where required.

We do not sell or rent personal information.

Retention and security

Public form submissions are sent by email and are not stored in the WordPress database. Copies may remain in the company’s email systems and business records only for as long as reasonably necessary to answer the request, manage the resulting relationship, maintain security, resolve disputes, or meet legal and accounting obligations.

Technical logs are retained according to the final hosting and security configuration. The privacy preference cookie lasts 180 days unless you remove it sooner.

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards intended to protect information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration, or disclosure. No internet or email transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your data-protection rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to be informed about processing, access your personal information, correct inaccurate information, object to or request limits on certain processing, withdraw consent, prevent direct marketing, or raise a complaint. Some requests may be limited where information must be retained by law or where another lawful basis applies.

Children and policy updates

This website and its property enquiries are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly request personal information from children through the public forms.

We may update this policy when our services, providers, or legal obligations change. The effective and review dates at the top of this page identify the current version.
